Stephenson and Son are building contractors in Sussex who carry out a wide range of high quality construction work. Even though we are based in Brighton, we are able to take on projects across the South East of England and we are very happy to showcase a project we completed in Kent in this post.

To provide you with an idea of the scale of the project, we began work on a development of three, new-build detached houses in Kent.

The properties were situated on a large piece of land which was associated with the owner’s existing property. The client was given planning permission to construct three new properties which we were very excited to be a part of.

In November 2014, Stephenson and Son were appointed as the main subcontractor constructing the manufactured roof trusses on all three houses.

Despite the cold winter weather and the tough working conditions, the project was delivered on time and on budget. In total, all three houses took the team about 6 weeks to complete.
The client was very happy with the high-quality finish of the roofing. We are also pleased to report that the whole project was a success and all three properties were sold very quickly upon completion.
